Dark Sight Boost Changes

Hunters can now gain Dark Sight Boost from multiple sources beyond holding a Bounty Token, including:

  • Dark Sight Boost Sealed Reward
  • Corpse Seer Trait
  • Fortune Teller Machine

New Mechanics:

  • Hunters leave scorch marks on the map when gaining Dark Sight Boost, revealing their location to all players.

New Equipment and Variants

Weapons:

  1. Chu Ko Nu - A medium-slot repeating crossbow with high rate-of-fire and recoverable bolts.
  2. 1865 Carbine Aperture - A medium-range repeater with a toggle-able peep sight.
  3. Krag Silencer - Bolt-action rifle with high fire-rate and reduced noise.
  4. Maynard Sniper Silencer - Scoped rifle with a silencer for precise, quiet shots.
  5. Sparks Pistol Silencer - A single-shot pistol version of the Sparks rifle, now silenced.

Ammo Types:

  • Subsonic Ammo: Quieter gunfire with reduced range and velocity, available for multiple weapon families.

New Consumable:

  • Recovery Shot - Restores a previously lost Health Chunk mid-Mission.

Custom Equipment Animations

Introducing the ability to customize weapon inspections with unique animations:

  • Battle Pass: Revolver Spin, Exhibition Drill Spin (Krag)
  • Store Purchasable: Katana Blood Shake (200 BB), Bruiser’s Twirl (Dusters) (300 BB)

Map Updates: Lawson Delta Returns

The updated Lawson Delta map features enhanced terrain, lighting, and compound designs for dynamic gameplay. New strategic access points, refined interiors, and balanced layouts breathe fresh life into this fan-favorite.


Traits and Gameplay Adjustments

New Traits:

  • Fast Fingers: Faster reloads for single-shot weapons like Sparks rifles.
  • Surefoot: Sprint with primed throwables and move faster while crouching.

Trait Adjustments:

  • Frontiersman and Silent Killer traits now cost fewer Upgrade Points.

Gunplay Tweaks

  • Sparks Pistol: Reduced reload time for faster follow-up shots.
  • Vetterli Cyclone: Lower recoil for better control.
  • Steel Bolts: Increased damage, now ideal for long-range shots.

Meta Updates

  • Custom Ammo Scarcity: Some powerful ammo types (e.g., Dolch Dumdum) are now scarce and cannot be purchased but can still be found in-Mission.
  • Prestige Progression: New Prestige screen with detailed rewards track.
  • Hunter Progression Rewards: Unlock unique models (Rookie, Survivor, Veteran tiers) for specific Hunters by reaching Level 50.

Audio Enhancements

  • Expanded Ear Ringing system for explosions and gunfire.
  • Improved audio balancing for Hunter voices and environmental sounds.
  • New ambient sounds for Lawson Delta.

  • Optimized CPU threading and VRAM management.

Team Communication

Team-Only Comms:

  • Separate voice and text chat channels for team-only communication.
  • Console players can cycle channels via D-pad controls.

  • Fixed AI pathing issues in Mammon’s Gulch and Stillwater Bayou.
  • Resolved weapon-related exploits, rendering issues, and menu bugs.
  • Addressed rare crashes and stuttering across platforms.
