Bungie has unveiled the highly anticipated Destiny 2 Update 8.1.5, introducing new content for the ongoing Season of Revenant, improvements across activities, balance changes, and critical fixes. From new seasonal events to a revamped arsenal of weapons and armor, this update enhances the Destiny 2 experience for both PvE and PvP players.
Seasonal Updates: Revenant Expands
Act II of Season of Revenant is live, offering:
- 50 additional Seasonal Pass levels.
- New Artifact perks and Tonics.
- Fresh Fieldwork missions.
- New Activities: Tomb of Elders and Gauntlet of Elders.
Weapons Highlights:
- Noxious Vetiver (Arc Precision Submachine Gun)

Bug fixes address Ether Siphon mechanics and ability-related crashes in Onslaught: Salvation. Echoes activity power levels have been normalized.
Crucible: Iron Banner Shines
Crucible sees significant updates, including the addition of the Iron Intent armor set and two new weapons:

- Archon’s Thunder: Reprised Stasis High-Impact Machine Gun
Adjustments include improved ammo brick visibility, private match tweaks, and bug fixes for map inconsistencies in Dead Cliffs.

Gameplay and Weapons: Refinements and Buffs
Weapon archetypes receive notable changes:
- Precision Bows: +10% body shot damage.
- Aggressive Hand Cannons: Adjusted to secure two-crit-one-body kills.
- Telesto: PvE damage increased by 20%.
- Eriana’s Vow: PvP critical damage corrected.
Exotic armor tweaks include increased damage perks for Raiden Flux, Knucklehead Radar, and Ballidorse Wrathweavers to bolster their utility.
Abilities and Artifact Modifiers
Super abilities now deal significantly more damage to PvE Champions (up to 55% increase), with improved energy gains per damage event. Titans' Ward of Dawn now taunts enemies when allies stand within it, adding a new layer of strategy.
