Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 01 Patch Notes – What's New in Season 01 Reloaded

Treyarch has kicked off Season 01 Reloaded in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 with a massive update, featuring weapon rebalancing, new content, and gameplay improvements across Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. Here’s everything you need to know about the latest patch.

Global Weapon Overhaul

Treyarch has implemented significant changes to weapon behavior, focusing on reducing weapon motion, enhancing stability, and improving the Aiming Idle Sway Delay mechanic. Key highlights include:

  • Reduced visual recoil, turn sway, and gun kick, especially for full-auto weapons and optics.
  • Sniper Rifles now fully eliminate idle sway in ADS.
  • Headshot damage adjustments for primary weapons, reducing the number of headshots required to secure a kill at all ranges.

These changes aim to create a more fluid and consistent gunplay experience while keeping the weapon meta balanced.

Multiplayer Updates

New and Updated Modes

  • Face Off: Score limits increased across all modes for a more competitive experience.
  • 10v10 Moshpit: Higher score limits for Kill Confirmed and Team Deathmatch.
  • Prop Hunt: Faster prop movement (except for Extra Large props) and reduced round time from 4 to 3 minutes. The mode is now available in Private Matches.

Map Tweaks

  • Hacienda: Spawn logic adjusted for improved balance.
  • Nuketown Holiday: Fixed an issue with green visual effects persisting on players.

Zombies Improvements

The Zombies experience has received several quality-of-life updates, including perk rebalancing, bug fixes for Easter egg steps, and increased rewards for completing objectives.

Weapon-Specific Changes

Assault Rifles

The XM4 saw its damage slightly reduced in the maximum range but had its effective range extended significantly to maintain viability in mid-to-long-range engagements.

SMGs

  • SMGs now deal consistent damage across ranges, with increased max damage range to maintain dominance in close-quarters combat.

What’s Next?

Season 01 Reloaded introduces a fresh meta to Black Ops 6, with Treyarch actively monitoring player feedback and gameplay trends. Whether you're jumping into intense Multiplayer matches, unraveling the mysteries of Zombies, or dominating in Warzone, these changes promise a refined and exciting experience.
